During my consultation with Dr Maitland he denigrated and patronised me. Furthermore, he initially refused to treat me and then subsequently breached patient-client confidentiality by disclosing conversations we undertook to a third party. I shall be pursuing this matter and making complaints to the relevant statutory (AMA) body. I shall further be following this issue up with Mr Maitland himself.
