  Typical older regional city caravan park. Helpful staff. Discount fuel at BP. Can walk or cycle around much of city area and river. Older but well cleaned facilities. We had great neighbours. Catch sunset!

  Great location next to the river and close to city centre. Watch out for midgees though. Very dry and sites uneven.

  Stayed at better and worse places. I'd say it's a typical urban caravan park, with all the perks and disadvantages that brings. The bad: It is so open and (when busy) cramped that at times you feel like you're on a parking lot. There is occasional traffic noise. A road goes straight next to some sites including the one we stayed at. It's not busy but when a car does pass it's loud and disturbing. The good: Amenities are good and clean. Hot, powerful showers were very welcome. In case you don't feel like cooking, be sure to visit one of the excellent local steakhouses. It's a 15 minute walk to the nearest one. The price: Value for money isn't up to par. I felt we paid way too much for what we received. Then again, the sites were nearly all occupied so I don't blame them for overcharging.
